How Our Financing Works:

Here at NIH Energy, we do not offer in-house financing. We count on you, the customer, to have your own financing means. Rather it be via your own bank or through a true cash deal set up. We do this to ensure that no one gets taken advantage of. This industry has a lot of lenders that specialize in solar financing but it comes with a price. The dealer fees that come with third party financing does not make solar affordable nor does it truly benefit the homeowner. We ensure that our prices stay low by only doing cash deals. You will get a better rate and more friendlier terms through your own bank then through a third party dealer.

How We Bill Out Our Systems:

We bill our systems out in 3 stages. The first stage is the initial deposit. We require 50% upfront. What this allows us to do is get your system engineered, get structural letter to ensure your existing roof can handle the additional weight of your new solar panels. Apply for interconnection with your local utility. Order procurement and apply for any and all permits required by your Local AHJ. 

 

The second stage of billing is after your solar system is installed and commissioned(proof that your system works). This is billed at 40%. 

 

The last remaining 10% is due once your local utility grants your permission to operate(energize your system). This is the very last step of your Solar Journey. Once this step is achieved, you are now independently providing your own power through a cleaner means.
